Gas Group: Production and operation indicators are all red

(Xi'an, China) - The year is off to a good start, and the spring plowing is followed by the autumn harvest. Since the beginning of this year, the Gas Group has been making every effort to stabilize supply, grasp projects and expand the market, and has been persevering in strengthening management, improving efficiency and ensuring safety with the posture of "accelerating at the beginning and taking off". In the first quarter, the total volume of gas transportation and sales increased by 18% year-on-year, and the operating income increased by 27% year-on-year, with production and operation continuing to improve.

Since the beginning of spring, the temperature has remained low and the overall demand for natural gas has been growing, with the total gas consumption during the heating season increasing by 8.82% year-on-year. The company ensured a stable supply of gas for people's livelihood by coordinating gas sources to increase supply, timely activation of reserve peaking resources, and reasonable adjustment of pipe stocks. In particular, the company continued to investigate and rectify hidden problems in the long-distance pipeline network and town gas pipeline network, increased equipment maintenance and repair efforts, and continuously optimized the process flow to ensure the continuous and stable operation of LNG peaking equipment.

At the same time, the company took the year of promoting high-quality projects as a grasp to accelerate the construction of natural gas supply, storage and marketing system, arranging 63 capital construction projects throughout the year, and focusing on improving the industry chain supply chain resilience and safety level. Under the unified deployment of Yanchang Petroleum Group, the company's leaders went to Rizhao, Shandong Province, Kunshan, Jiangsu Province and Shenzhen, Guangdong Province for many times to investigate and discuss LNG receiving station construction and operation projects, leading to the signing of the "Rizhao Port Lanshan Port LNG Receiving Station Project Cooperation Framework Agreement", laying the foundation for promoting gas market business outside the province and ensuring energy security. The drilling project of "Weihe 1 well" was carried out with high quality, and the drilling depth was nearly 4,000 meters, which received the attention and guidance from the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and other leaders and experts, thus laying a solid foundation for the subsequent helium exploration operation. The company has established a mechanism for key projects under the leadership of the company and seized the "golden period" to organize the timely commencement of key projects such as the Xi'an LNG storage and peaking project and the gas transmission pipeline project from Liuba to Fengxian. By the end of the first quarter, the total investment was 89.4 million RMB, which was 111.75% of the first quarter plan.

In addition, we organized all units to flexibly study and judge the market demand, continued to release the synergistic effect of "resources + market", and carried out brand promotion activities, and the sales situation was better than expected. The affiliated city fuel enterprises flexibly adjusted pricing strategies, formulated and implemented preferential policies, and vigorously developed industrial customers, developing more than 10,000 new residential customers and 150 non-residential customers in the first quarter. The company successfully signed the first out-of-province gasoline (gas) station project, added two new gas stations and closed three gas stations, and actively promoted the increase of terminal retail sales and revenue, attracting a total of 14,000 new members in the first quarter and increasing retail sales by 64% in the same period. The new energy company under its affiliation focused on the target markets of heating, steam and photovoltaic, deepened the research on the technical routes of biomass, geothermal and charging pile projects, and deeply implemented the "going out" strategy, adding 460,000 square meters of heating area and 3.4MW of photovoltaic installation.
