In 2023, Huatech carried out an experimental project of 500 tonnes per year of high silica-oxygen pool kiln wire drawing in Chinese, and has achieved initial results. Pool kiln wire drawing technology is a simple process with high yield, good quality and low energy consumption, and is widely used in the production of glass fibre. Due to the high level of automation of pool kiln drawing, the production site requires constant temperature and humidity, so it can effectively improve the production environment of the workshop staff.

It is understood that the project is Huatech's combination of many years of experience in the production of high silica glass fibre, which lasted more than a year, during which the industry pool kiln experts were consulted, and ultimately independently developed the key technology of high silica pool kiln drawing, which is of great significance in the enhancement of China's special glass fibre material production process.
 
 
 
‘We will continue to amplify the application of high silica-oxygen pool kiln wire drawing technology, and this year, we have proposed an annual output of 4,000 tonnes of high silica-oxygen glass pool kiln wire drawing production line technology transformation project, which is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025. It can meet all of the company's civil high silica oxygen glass fibre production, not only solves the operating environment of most wire drawing workers, the working efficiency can also be 4-5 times higher than before.’ Xu Union, chief engineer of Huatech, said.
