Shaanxi Unicom partners with RTP's group Yanchang Petroleum to build the first 5G+ intelligent well construction system for coal mines

On November 15, the finals of the 5th "Blossom Cup" 5G Application Contest concluded. In this year's competition, China Unicom Shaanxi Branch (hereinafter referred to as "Shaanxi Unicom") and Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Yanchang Petroleum") to create "drilling well without well Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yanchang Petroleum") to create the project "Well drilling without well", which opens a new chapter of 5G+ network industry integration for Yanchang Petroleum's coal, electricity, oil and chemical composite scenario, and develops the first 5G+ intelligent well construction system in the coal mining industry to reach the international leading level, filling the technology gap of intelligent coal mines, and is approved by the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Development and Reform Commission's new infrastructure special projects and other national issues, and finally won the first prize in the competition. It is understood that this is also the highest honor Shaanxi Unicom has won in the stage of "Bloom Cup".

Shaanxi Unicom and Yanchang Petroleum have conducted joint research on well construction technology and carried out the first industrial test of passive electromagnetic super-surface directional reinforcement signal in Cocoa Gai Mine, and took the lead in applying 5G+UWB intrinsically safe fusion base station test to achieve full coverage of 5G signal for intelligent digging machine crowd. The success of the intelligent shaft construction project in Cocoa Gai Mine marks the soundness of the whole life cycle of coal mine intelligence, which is of great significance to speed up coal energy production and guarantee national energy security.

In the future, the main battlefield of China's coal resources development will gradually change from shallow depth to middle depth. From 2020 to 2022, 45 newly approved mines in China are located in the western region (Shaanxi, Gansu, Ning, Jin, Meng, Xin, Qing and other provinces), which have similar geological conditions with Cocoa Gai mine. The successful practice of "5G+intelligent well construction" provides a new model of well construction that can be replicated, borrowed and promoted for the efficient development and construction of coal resources in western China. In the next step, Shaanxi Unicom will continue to take the responsibility of "national team, main force and leader", play the ecological advantage of "government, industry, academia, research and application", and strive to sail on the journey of industrial Internet and create brilliance again.
