Recently, the reporter walked into the site of the naphtha light diesel oil comprehensive utilization project of Shaanxi Extension China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Co Ltd, located in Jingbian Economic and Technological Development Zone, only to see 19 large storage tanks standing, and the site construction is in full swing.

As a pioneer in the concept of "comprehensive utilization of coal, oil and gas resources", the company has built the world's first comprehensive utilization of coal, oil and gas demonstration plant, using coal, residual oil and oilfield gas as raw materials, and producing high-value-added chemicals through the "carbon-hydrogen complementary" method, which has created a new opportunity for the clean conversion of resources and the production of three fossil raw materials. This has created a new path for clean resource conversion and diversified production of three fossil raw materials, and the project has been listed as "United Nations Clean Coal Technology Demonstration and Promotion Project" and "Shaanxi Province Circular Economy Demonstration Project".

The naphtha light diesel oil comprehensive utilization project is an important industrial extension project of the comprehensive utilization project of coal, oil and gas resources, which is an important step to increase the volume around the industrial chain while pursuing the "clean, efficient, green and low-carbon" development of the comprehensive utilization of coal, oil and gas.

"The naphtha light diesel oil comprehensive utilization project effectively utilizes the naphtha and light diesel oil by-produced from the residual oil catalytic thermal cracking device in the comprehensive utilization project of coal oil and gas, and produces a variety of chemical products, such as benzene, toluene, mixed xylene, aromatics and so on." The company's process engineer Feng Jiaojiao introduced, "This will reasonably adjust the company's product oleochemical ratio, enrich product types, further extend the chain, supplement the chain, strong chain, fully improve the added value of by-products, and maximize the benefits."

It is understood that the naphtha light diesel oil comprehensive utilization project estimated investment of about 1.554 billion yuan, the construction of 250,000 tons / year naphtha hydrogenation and refining, 200,000 tons / year young diesel oil hydrogenation and reforming, 250,000 tons / year olefin feedstock refining and 200,000 tons / year of heavy aromatics adsorption and separation of the four sets of process equipment, as well as oil storage, transportation, utility engineering and auxiliary facilities, etc.. After completion, it is expected to realize sales revenue of 2.149 billion yuan per year.

"Heavy aromatic hydrocarbon adsorption and separation device using CNOOC Tianjin Chemical Industry Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. independently developed advanced process technology, can greatly reduce the material consumption, energy consumption, has the advantage of latecomer." Feng Jiaojiao introduction, the device has many technical highlights, such as heavy aromatics adsorption and separation technology based on the concept of "molecular refining", can be different properties of the raw material quality and utilization, reduce processing costs; aromatics device using advanced heat integration technology, fully adopt the process of energy-saving optimization measures, so that the device energy consumption has been significantly reduced.

The project was completed and put into operation, and will also help China's polyolefin industry continue to develop.

It is reported that since the transition to commercial operation in 2015 to the end of 2022, the company has produced a total of 9.94 million tons of polyolefin products, and achieved a cumulative total industrial output value of 96 billion yuan. By the end of 2022, the company has developed 83 polyolefin product grades in five categories, including high-density polyethylene and linear low-density polyethylene, basically realizing the full coverage of various end-product applications, with the output of medium- and high-end products accounting for more than 67%.
