Refining & Chemical Company: Completed the annual maintenance and restoration of the main unit in Jiaokou area ahead of schedule

(Yan'an, China) - On July 2, the 1 million tons/year catalytic unit of Yan'an Refinery, a subsidiary of the refining and chemical company, was fed and started successfully. So far, the main production units in the company's Jiaokou area resumed production 2 days earlier than planned, marking the successful completion of the company's three-year long-cycle operation annual maintenance task in the Jiaokou area.

This joint overhaul of 13 sets of main units of Yan'an Refinery, 12 sets of main units of Yan'an Petrochemical Plant, and all auxiliary units and public systems in the Jiaokou area, involving a total of 4,808 overhaul items, 6,017 sets of equipment, and tens of thousands of people involved in the overhaul.



Integrated planning, a high starting point. In order to ensure the completion of plant overhaul, start-up and shutdown on schedule and with high quality and efficiency, the company planned ahead and established a leading group for overhaul in April, setting up nine leading professional groups for overhaul coordination, including the plant start-up and shutdown group, process technology group and safety and security group. At the same time, the company issued the "Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group refining and chemical company overhaul outsourcing construction unit assessment and evaluation management measures (for trial implementation)", requiring the company's units in the overhaul process in strict accordance with the trial measures to ensure that the safety, quality and progress of device overhaul strictly controlled.



After the overhaul work was fully started, the company strictly followed the requirements of "six guarantees" of the Group's overhaul and completed the joint overhaul of the plant in the Jiaokou area on time and achieved a successful start-up. As one of the main battlefields of this overhaul, Yan'an Refinery issued the "2023 Plant Overhaul Plan of Yan'an Refinery" and revised the "Standardized Management Manual for Plant Overhaul of Yan'an Refinery". At the same time, 183 work instructions were prepared according to the standards and specifications, and 460 inspection and maintenance work orders were prepared.



It is understood that, in order to ensure the successful completion of the overhaul task, the refining and chemical company, in accordance with the principle of "seven parts preparation, three parts overhaul", has actively docked with upstream and downstream sister units and relevant units at the grassroots level, held several special docking sessions and coordination meetings, and continuously optimized the overhaul arrangement and material balance program, in order to successfully complete the annual overhaul work of the plant in the Jiaokou area, and This has laid a solid foundation for the successful completion of the annual overhaul of the plant in the Jiaokou area and the safe and stable long-cycle operation of the plant in the next cycle.
